A man of Italian descent who grew up on the streets of Miami, Florida, Ciro Dapagio has led a number of film/television projects as a self-employed producer. He also has multiple credits as a writer and actor. One of Ciro Dapagio’s latest releases is The MobKing.
A central creative force behind The MobKing, Mr. Dapagio wrote the series and served as both its star actor and executive producer. After its release in 2018, the program took home both “Best New Web Series” and “Best Lead Actor” honors at the Widescreen Festival.
Set in Mr. Dapagio’s hometown of Miami, The MobKing tells the story of Mike White, a man with a shady past who is torn between the quiet life of caring father and the temptation of easy money. The MobKing also stars veteran actor Antoni Corone and Widescreen Festival “Best Supporting Actress” winner Celine Alva. Corone shared directing duties on The MobKing with versatile filmmaker Jokes Yanes.
